Mr. William Wenquan YANG

William Yang grated from the Foreign Languages School of Sichuan Normal University and the Law School of Renmin University. Before starting his career as an IP professional, he worked over five years at the Foreign Affairs Department of the Ministry of Supervision of the PRC and the Central Commission for Disciplinary Inspection of the CPC. William received IP law training at two US law firms.

William Yang has over 26 years’ experience as an IP lawyer, serving the clients big, medium or small from both China and foreign countries. He has broad and significant experience in IPR counseling, licensing and assignment, unfair competition and litigations.

William Yang is a member of the LESI, the AIPPI, the INTA, the FICPI and a council member of the BJTA. He was selected as one of the China IP Stars in Trademark & Copyright in 2014 and 2015 by Managing Intellectual Property (MIP), and has been recommended as one of the leading patent litigators in China by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) since 2021. William Yang was the part-time tutor for graduate students of master's degree in law at the School of Law of Renmin University of China from 2011 to 2014, and was selected by the Intellectual Property Office (BJIPO) of Beijing Municipal Government as an expert for its IP Experts Pool from 2020-2022.
